Students who have initially registered for Professional Education (Course – II) and passed one of the
groups in Professional Education (Examination – II) can commence their articled training on
successful completion of Information Technology Training (ITT)

Having regard to the hardship faced by the students of Professional Education (Course-II), the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has decided to allow Professional Education (Course-II) students who have passed one of the groups in Professional Education (Examination – II) to commence their articled training under a eligible member of the Institute in terms of Regulation 45 (1) (b) (i) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.
In view of the above, students of the following category of PE-II students can register and commence their articled training on switching over to Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) subject to completion of Compulsory Computer Training (CCT) or Information Technology Training (ITT) as under.

Note:
1. Articled registration fee is Rs. 2000/- to be paid while commencing articled training to the concerned Regional Office by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India” payable at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur or Delhi as the case may be.
2. If student who was not completed Compulsory Computer Training (CCT), has to register for Information Technology Training (ITT). Registration fee for ITT registration is Rs. 2000/- is to be paid to the concerned Regional Office by way Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India” payable at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur or Delhi as the case may be.
3. Students have to pay separate fee of Rs. 4,000/- for undergoing ITT classes to the concerned Regional ITT centres or to the concerned ITT Branches.
Students who have passed one of the groups in Professional Education (Examination – II) will get paper wise exemption (NOT Group wise Exemption) in Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE) and have to appear and pass remaining papers in IPCE under ‘Unit Scheme’ as given under –

It will be same if you had enrolled for articleship earlier. It will be 3 Years of articleship for you. If you still have any doubts can ask me.

i am doing ca final and doing articleship also. i want to join eiither cs or icwa . is it allow me to be exempted doing training either in cs or icwa on the basis of completion of articleship in ca as i can’t do articleship again. pls reply as soon as possble. thanks

You dont have such type of exemption. Because all three are the different types of courses and they have their own importance individually. And you cant do either of the courses simultaneously.

i have qualified one group of ca pe2.how can i fill the form 102 for articleship coz there is not mentioned any on option like passed one group of pe2.
the options are
passed pe2/pe1/foundation
passed ipcc gr1
passed ipcc gr2.
what should i do..

I’m interested in doing CA , i have done B.Sc and persuing MBA in finance but i want to do CA . I’m working with HP , so i need to enroll for CA Inter (PE-2) , so my question is can i register for articleship after clearing my exams or do i need to study and do articleship simultanesously . Please adivise .

You can do CA. Now there is no PE-2 in CA , now it is called as IPCC instead of PE-2. First of all you have to give CA CPT(Foundation ) Course which is first stage of CA. After passing CA CPT you can enroll for CA IPCC. You can do your articleship either completion of Group 1 of IPCC or Completing both groups of CA IPCC. But you should join articleship either options only. If you have any doubts can ask us.
