Common Proficiency Test ( Paper- Pencil Mode) will be held on Sunday, 19th December

Section – A Fundamentals of Accounting
Section – B Mercantile Laws
Second Session
(i.e. Afternoon Session)
2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (IST)
Section – C General Economics
Section – D Quantitative Aptitude
Exam Fee :
Exam fee for those who write in exam centres of India will need to pay RS 600/- (Rs.500/- towards examination fee and Rs. 100/- towards cost of application form and Information brochure) .
Exam fee for those who write in Abu Dhabi , Dubai, Doha and Bahrain centres will be US $160 ( US $ 150 towards examination fee and US $ 10 towards cost of application form and information brochure) or its equivalent Indian currency.
The fee for the candidates opting for Kathmandu centre are required to remit INR.950/-( INR 850/- towards examination fee and INR 100/- towards the cost of application form.
Exam forms will be available from October 6th,2010.
Last date to submit exam forms 27th October 2010
For Online Submission :
Alternatively the candidate may fill up the examination application form online at http://icaiexam.icai.org from 6th October ,2010 ( 10:00 hrs) to 27th October ,2010 ( 17:30hrs) and remit the fee online by using credit card, either VISA or Master Card.
Eligible candidates to write December 19,2010 CPT Exam are those who are registered for CA CPT on or Before October 1,2010.

Dear Rahul, Yes there is difference between Registration form and Exam form.
1. Registration form is for enrolling yourself for CA CPT Course ( Foundation course of CA ).
2. Exam form is to be filled before exam by every one who want to give their attempts in June and December of every year.
3. You can give your exam any where in India. While filling Exam form before exam you can select place of Exam Centre you want to write.

Be positive Aarush. Don’t think about second attempt better to clear in this attempt only. Prepare well and pass the exam.
Anyway i have to answer your question. so, you don’t have any option to write in December if you fail in October exam. you have to apply for after December attempt only.
But don’t put secondary thoughts in your mind. prepare well, feel that this attempt is only your last attempt.

There is no option for you to write December Exam as the last date for submission for CPT December Exam is going to be complete on Ocotber 27th,2010. You can write only in Next year. If you still have any doubts can ask us.

And tell me please that if i am not able to continue my c.a. Profation (due to some financial reason) and just take articalship from a athorised C.A. then there is any future? Please tell me sir. No doubt about that for Qualified CA will have Good Prospectus than any body. Yes it is right only you can take after Exam, but according to ICAI you can get enrolled after getting IPCC passed only.So if you want to work then you can but your Period will be counted from when you register with ICAI only. It is good to have knowledge, but some time for studies also. When you go to articleship daily study one hour. If you still have any doubts you can ask us. All the best for December CPT Exams.

Yes it is very good to do Articleship under CA even if you don’t do CA Course also. Regarding Future it depends up on you choose the firm. It also depends up on yourself that what you want to become. But Join as as Paid assistant. After some time if your family situation gets better then do CA Course.Choose Good firm so that you get good exposure in all fields like Accounting ,Auditing,Taxation …

There is no issue with how many marks you got or how many attempts you took for passing either CPT or IPCC. Only you have to pass those exams. But it is better for your future if you completed all exams in First attempt.
According to the CA rules after completing IPCC first group, one can get the opportunity to register as an articled assistant. So, every one looks out as to how well you have done your IPCC.

ICAI will send Hall Tickets to every Student , but due to postal problems it might get delay. Some times you don’t get to your home due to before said reason.

According to ICAI Rules and Regulations you are not eligible to write May 2011 attempt. You will get attempt to write in November 2011.
